Camogie About Us

Dungourney Camogie Club has approximately 140 players across all ages with teams at U6, U8, U10, U11, U12, U14, U16, Minor and Junior.

The season kicks off in January every year with training on the astro turf pitch which moves to the GAA pitch once it opens.

The younger age groups U6, U8, U10 & U11 partake in ‘Go-Games’ which are non-competitive and are designed to encourage participation and inclusion of all players.

U12s upwards partake in league at the start of the year followed by championship. Imokilly divisional leagues are also organised for U13s (which introduces girls to a full pitch and a heavier sliotar for the first time) and U15s.

Some of our girls have been successful in being selected for Cork development panels at varying ages and on Imokilly divisional teams up to and including Senior. New members are always welcome and can register by contacting any committee member.
