4Ukraine (a Cork based charity) that was set up by former senator John Gilroy, John O'Brien of Knockadoon and other community leaders are collecting non-perishable items to be sent to Ukraine as the crisis continues to worsen; the focus this month is on tinned foods including beans, tuna, fish, meats, spaghetti, peas and soups - tinned where possible. In order to maximise quantity the most cost effective brands will be ideal. 4Ukraine are hoping to send eight tons of tinned food on the 28th February to Ukraine. In an effort to assist 4Ukraine meet its target the local community will organise two drop off time periods - These will occur on the dates below and any contribution can be dropped off at Dungourney ball alley during the times below.

Sunday (29th Jan) evening at 8pm or Monday (30th) at 9am. The items will be collected at 10am Monday morning.

A second opportunity to drop-off will occur again on Sunday (12th Feb) at 8pm and Monday (13th Feb) at 9am and collection that Monday again at 10am.

Warm clothing and blankets of good quality are also appreciated but the focus this month is with tinned foods. There is also a go fund me page that raises money to support transporting items over. https://gofund.me/f7869e1f Any help is hugely appreciated.
